The Rivercity Bluegrass Festival is coming upward in Portland, Oregon on January 9-11 2009.

This eld festival holds a great card with a card that holds some of the best banjo participants ever on thelineup.Dr. Ralph Stanley,J.D. Crowe, Measure Keith, Tony Furtado, Measure Evans, Tony Trischka, Jens Kruger, Ronnie Stewart. Both traditional ( Stanley, Crowe, Evans, Kruger and Stewart ) and progressive ( Keith, Furtado and Trischka ) are goodly corresponded.

Longview will be doing one of their few appearances of the yr at the festival. Longview is a superstar circle consisted of players who ascribablely the fact that they hold regular `` day business 's '' ( they all are in other circles full clip ) This lot takes togetherJ.D. Crowe, James Rex, Lou Reid, Ronnie Stewart, Don Rigsby & Marshall Wilborn!!

Doctor Ralph Stanley and The Clinch Mount Boys does an all to rare appearance on the west seashore at the festival.

Another set doing a rare appearance are the Whites who will be holding former circle member Boche Douglas doing with them.

Add to this shops and piling and you get the perfect indoor wintertime weekend.
